ICT visualisers
Visualisers have taken over from the OHP as the “teacher’s tool” in a modern classroom.
A visualiser is a high pixel digital camera on a flexible arm which allows you to connect to any PC, interactive whiteboard and projector to display a 3D object, such as a microscope slide, an insect or a leaf in large scale for all the class to see. Visualisers can include useful features such as a zoom lens or autofocus.
Applications can include:
- Enlarging books for reading in front of the class
- displaying maps and diagrams in large scale
- studying tiny objects such as flowers in detail.
